Topps Project 2020 is an online exclusive set of baseball cards sold on Topps.com which featured 20 artists recreating 20 iconic Topps baseball cards. Each card was released for sale for only 48 hours, and when sold out, they were never sold again. These small print run and limited sales windows make these cards highly desirable. Coming off the success of the campaign of Topps Project 2020 baseball cards, for 2021, Topps released a new series of Topps Project70 baseball cards, a collection of iconic baseball cards from star players also reimagined by creative artists from around the world. The name Project70 comes from Topps creating their first set of baseball cards in 1951, and Project70 baseball cards celebrate 70 years of Topps baseball cards. Much like the Topps Project 2020 baseball cards, Topps Project70 baseball cards are highly coveted and were only available for 70 hours total on Topps.com.
